HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman is responding to the two men he previously blocked on Twitter, for ‘unwelcomed comments’ towards his family.
Fetterman’s response:
You and your clients appear willing to squander taxpayer resources in this frivolous endeavor. In this, and in every instance, my first instinct is to avoid this waste whenever possible. Your clients’ unblocked status will be revisited if they again target my family with unwelcomed postings on my personal Twitter account. I am neither offering, nor requesting an apology and consider this matter closed.Sean Guay and Jason Lindemuth were both blocked on Twitter by Fetterman and gave him a deadline of Friday, Feb. 21. to issue an apology via Twitter and to unblock them from his page, or they would file a lawsuit for defamation and false light.
“In my personal Twitter, I don’t allow, you can say what you want about me, but, you know, don’t demean or insult my wife or my children or try to spread that kind of hateful material,” Fetterman said.
Fetterman has unblocked both men but refuses to offer an apology to either.
